From Wix to #1
The same clinic, the same brand — moved off a Wix template onto a hand-coded site it actually owns. Both versions are still live, so every number on this page can be checked right now.
The before
EMA started where most small businesses start: a DIY website builder. It did a job — but it lived on a free wixsite.com subdomain (someone else's brand on the front door), carried the weight of a general-purpose template, and didn't appear in Google's top 100 for a single treatment search. The screenshot above is the actual site — it's still online, banner and all.
Measured, not claimed
We loaded both sites in the same browser, on the same connection, on the same day. These are the numbers:
Don't take our word for it: open the old site ↗ and the rebuild ↗, or run either through Google's own PageSpeed test ↗. Load times vary by connection; ranking positions vary by location and over time.
The move — handled, not homework
Switching platforms sounds risky, so most owners never do it. Our migration service exists so you don't have to think about it:
- We move the content — every page, treatment, image and word, rebuilt properly.
- We map the redirects — old addresses forward to their new homes automatically, so links keep working and no indexed page is thrown away.
- We protect the search presence — sitemap and Search Console updated, rankings monitored through the switch.
- You keep trading — the old site stays up until the new one is verified and live. Zero downtime, nothing for you to do.
- You end up owning everything — your domain, your content, your data. Documented at handover.
What happened next
With a fast, owned site as the foundation, the growth campaign took it from invisible to 15 of 25 tracked keywords on Google page 1 — four at #1 — plus mentions inside Google’s AI answers. The full story, with tap-to-verify keywords, is in the EMA Aesthetics case study.
