Pay monthly websites — bespoke, managed, and yours to keep.
A hand-built website for £89.99 a month while our launch offer lasts (usually £129.99). £0 upfront, no VAT added. We research your market first, then design it, code it, host it, secure it and keep improving it — and after the first 12 months the site is yours outright.
A pay monthly website replaces a £2,000–£5,000 upfront build with one predictable monthly price that covers the design, the build, hosting, security and ongoing changes. The detail that separates good from bad: what you own, and what happens when you stop paying.
What pay monthly websites cost in the UK — honestly
We checked the market in August 2026 so you don’t have to. Here’s what the price bands actually buy — including where we sit and why.
| Price band | What it usually buys | The catch to check |
|---|---|---|
| £19–£40 /mo | A template on a shared page builder or WordPress theme, a handful of pages, hosting included. | Often rented forever — stop paying and the site is gone. “Unlimited updates” usually means small text swaps. |
| £40–£100 /mo | More pages, some SEO attention, sometimes a copywriting pass. Still usually template-based. | Ownership varies wildly. Ask who owns the site, the domain and the content — in writing. |
| £100+ /mo | Online shops, heavier maintenance tiers, agency retainers. | Check what’s genuinely included monthly versus billed on top. |
| MyDiro — £89.99 /mo launch offer · usually £129.99 · £0 upfront · no VAT added | Measured search research before a line of code. Hand-written build — no templates, no page builders — verified 90+ on our published 100-point standard. Google Business Profile set up & optimised. Your own admin panel. Two hours of development every month. Adverts made in-house. Yours outright after 12 months. | The honest catch: a 12-month initial term. That’s what makes a bespoke build possible with nothing upfront — then it’s month by month. |
A website that works and converts starts with research, not design
We specialise in getting local businesses found — and a website aimed at nothing converts nothing. So before we design anything, we work to understand your business, then measure your market: what your customers actually type into Google (real monthly numbers, from the same professional search database agencies pay hundreds a month for), who wins each of those searches in your town today, and whether the AI assistants recommend you when buyers ask them. Every page is then planned against that evidence — and you see all of it, in writing, before we've touched a line of code:
TAP TO READ ⤢
TAP TO READ ⤢
TAP TO READ ⤢The instruments behind the documents
These aren't mock-ups — they're pages from the working reports. This is what "we researched your market" actually looks like when we say it:
TAP TO READ ⤢
TAP TO READ ⤢
TAP TO READ ⤢REAL DOCUMENTS AND REPORT PAGES FROM RECENT CLIENT WORK, EXACTLY AS DELIVERED — CLIENT NAMES WITHHELD.
The scorecard tells you how good a website is. The research tells you what it should be aimed at. You need both, and both are in the monthly price — along with Google Business Profile setup and optimisation, because local search runs on Google's trust in your business as much as your website. We haven't found another pay monthly provider that puts any of this in your hands before you commit. It's the difference between buying a website and buying an outcome.
Who owns what, and when
Yours, always
Your domain, your content, your images, your enquiries and your business data are yours from the start — documented, and exportable at any time.
We carry the build
During the initial term the site build itself is MyDiro’s property — that’s the honest mechanics of £0 upfront. You pay monthly; we keep building, hosting and improving.
Yours outright
The site becomes yours, full stop. Stay month-to-month because it’s working — or take it anywhere, with our help. No hostage situations. The full ownership guide.
What £89.99 buys that £25 doesn’t
Code, not templates
Every site is hand-coded to the job — which is why ours load in about a second and pass a published quality gate at 90+ before launch. What the Managed Website includes.
A studio, not a subscription
Two hours of development every month, your own admin panel to change prices and photos yourself, and adverts made in-house from £39.99 — one team for the site and the marketing.
Proof, not promises
Our client EMA Aesthetics ranks on page 1 of Google for 15 of her 25 target searches — check the case study and verify the searches yourself.
Pay monthly websites — the questions everyone asks
How much should I pay for a website per month?
In the UK market right now, £19–£40 buys a rented template, £40–£100 buys more attention, £100+ buys shops and retainers. We’re £89.99 (launch offer, usually £129.99) for a bespoke hand-coded build with a published quality standard, an admin panel, monthly development time and ownership after a year. Pay for the product you actually need — but know which product you’re being sold.
Do pay monthly websites include SEO and research?
Usually not — most pay monthly providers start at the design stage and "SEO" means filling in a few page titles. We start earlier: measured search demand for your trade and area, live checks of who wins those searches today, and a page-by-page blueprint agreed before design begins — with Google Business Profile setup and optimisation included. The research is what makes the website a commercial decision rather than a cosmetic one.
Do people really pay monthly for websites?
Yes — it’s now one of the most common ways UK small businesses buy a website, because it turns a £2,000–£5,000 project into a predictable monthly cost with hosting, security and updates included. The market’s grown fast precisely because it works. The variable is ownership, which is why we put ours in writing above.
What happens if I stop paying?
During the initial 12 months, early exit means the remaining months are payable — that’s the deal that funds a bespoke build with nothing upfront, and we say it plainly rather than burying it. After the initial term you’re month to month with 30 days’ notice, and the site is yours outright either way.
Can I move my website away from you?
After the initial term, yes — it’s yours, and we’ll help you move it properly. Your domain, content and data are yours from day one regardless. If you’re currently stuck with another provider, our switching service exists for exactly that.
Is there really nothing to pay upfront?
Really nothing. The Direct Debit is set up when you accept the proposal, but nothing is collected until your site launches. If we’re slow, that’s our problem, not your bill.
Do you only work in Staffordshire?
We’re based in Staffordshire and love working locally — Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Newcastle-under-Lyme — but the service is fully remote-friendly and we build for businesses across the UK. Everything happens over calls, WhatsApp and your own admin panel.
